Another relationship in tinsel town bites the dust.
The ever smiling and bubbly Bua aka Upasana Singh (Comedy Nights with Kapil fame) might have been finding a prospective groom on screen but off the camera she has been facing hurdles in her conjugal life.
As per reports in a national daily, the actress has parted with husband, actor Neeraj Bhardwaj (Saathiya).
The couple had tied the knot in 2009, and issues started cropping soon after. The two were said to be living separately since the last four years. The seven years itch seemed to have hit them hard as now the two will officially head for a divorce.
A source told the daily, “Though problems have been rife for long time but for the last nine months there was no communication between Upasana and Neeraj. The actress did not even invite him for her birthday. Though they tried hard to resolve their issues but the marriage had reached at irrevocable phase.”
Denying that career was the cause of their divorce, Neeraj has been quoted saying, “We weren't on the same page and I couldn't meet her expectations. We decided to part ways amicably. Upasana doesn't need me and I shouldn't hold her back. We have worked together on numerous occasions. She is my senior, but her popularity or our professional lives have never posed a threat to our marriage. There are no ego clashes on that front. We are not made for each other.”
Upasana, on the other hand mentioned, “It's a personal matter and I don't appreciate media intruding in that space. I wouldn't want anything on my personal life making its way into the public domain.”
Well, it does seem like the end for them.
