The Patil and the Kshirsagar family are two rival families of a political landscape in Satara. Both Kshirsagar and the doyen of Patil family, Anna, are at loggerheads for one single position in their party. Money being a very crucial factor in politics, local business tycoon Kishanlal Sarada becomes a key factor in changing the game.
Durva, directed by Deepak Nalawde, has been produced by Nitin and Ninad Vaidya of Dashami Creations. Noted actors Vinay Apte, Uday Tikekar and Prasad Pandit portray the key characters of Rajvijay Patil (Patil Anna), Devkisan Sarda and Vishwasrao Khirsagar respectively.
