MUMBAI: Kasautii Zindagii Kay is one of the most watched TV soaps.

The character of Komolika was an integral part of the narrative, and right from the time producer Ekta Kapoor announced a reboot, the speculation as to who will be able to match up to the original swag of this iconic vamp, which was played by Urvashi Dholakia, was the talk of the town.

Soon, Hina Khan was roped in, and she played the role with such grace that she mesmerized the audience and made them fall head over heels in love with her!

However, to pursue greener pastures, Hina had to quit the show, and the makers have now found the right choice in Aamna Shariff!

Aamna has her own style of acting, and as she made an entry yesterday, we wonder if she will be able to do justice to the character of Komolika as much as Hina did?

Pragati Sharma, a BMM student, said, 'Aamna is a fine actress, and she does look promising.'

Dhananjay Jadhav, a commerce student, was of the opinion, 'I think Aamna has a different style, and yes, it will be quite a challenge since the audience has Hina as Komolika in their mindset, but looking at her entry, she does seem to ace it.'
