Will Nivedita Tiwari be the 'chosen' one, the new Anandi?

As we know the channel and the production house of Balika Vadhu has short listed three fresh faces to play the older Anandi, post leap. Now their fate depends on public votes as the girl who gets the maximum number will step into the show. Our source informs, “It was the channel's strategy to short list three girls and ask for public opinion. The girls who have been short listed are Pratyusha Banerjee from Jamshedpur, Lucknow's Nivedita Tiwari and Ketki Chitale from Mumbai. However there is a strong possibility that Nivedita may get lucky as she fits the bill perfectly, she has that innocence in her which is required for the character. In fact, our team is hoping too she gets selected, her audition and look test went very well and we are confident she will do justice to Anandi.” A five year leap is expected to take place in the show mid-July when the older Jagdish and Anandi will be introduced in the story along with few more characters. It is said that in few days’ time new kids will also be finalized to play Sugna and Gehna's children. The ‘new’ Jagdish is likely to be cast within a week and the channel is looking for a known face to play the role.
