Yash Patnaik's next on Star Plus gets a new name, now it's not Sooli but Veera

We had earlier reported that Yash Patnaik’s (Beyond Dreams Productions) new show Sooli Upar Sej Piya Ki might replace Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya at 10.30 pm slot on Star Plus . Now we bring you more news that the above show based on brother sister relationship has now been rechristened as Veera (which means elder brother in Punjabi). According to our source, its promos would also be cut very soon. The story will begin with the leads as children and then they will grow up post leap. Astha Chaudhary (Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na) is playing a cameo in the same. However she refused to comment on anything on the project. Though there is no confirmation on the date of Veera’s premiere, it will mostly commence airing in October, added our source. Furthermore, we also now have confirmed news that Pratigya will indeed go off. Lead actor of this Pearl Grey produced show Pooja Gor confirmed the same saying, “I am happy to have been part of such a great show. I am also honored to have played a strong character which inspired woman in our society.” Suzana Ghai, Head of Fiction Star Plus, added that Pratigya had a very good run. “It has been a very iconic show for us. And Pratigya’scharacter brought about a big change in the way protagonists on Hindi GEC (Hindi General Entertainment Channels) are featured.” The only uninformed person on the set seems to be Arhaan Behll (Krishna) who maintained that, “I have not been informed about the show going off air.” We will soon come up with more details!!!
