MUMBAI: Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been ruling the TRP charts for years. One of the longest-running non-fiction dramas on Indian television, the show has now achieved a remarkable feat by completing 5000 episodes. At a time when most shows barely last a few months, YRKKH continues to stand strong with its enduring legacy.
To celebrate this major milestone, the makers hosted a grand party, bringing together cast members from all generations. The highlight of the evening, however, was the rare joint appearance of second-generation leads Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan.
For the uninitiated, Shivangi and Mohsin, who played the iconic pair Naira and Kartik, fondly called KaiRa, were once rumoured to be dating. After the show took a leap, the two maintained distance and were seldom seen together. Their reunion after years—coming together to honour the show’s 5000-episode achievement—caught everyone’s attention.

Shivangi and Mohsin posed for pictures with producer Rajan Shahi and other cast and crew members. They were seen being cordial and professional throughout the event.
