In an interview with Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1, Zayn cleared that the real reason behind his new bald haircut was not depression. The singer revealed that the reason was excessive bleaching. He also shared how the excessive bleaching on his head has caused the quality of his hair to degrade gradually. The singer added that the reason he went bald was so that he could grow it back again from the roots in the scalp. The singer also confronted his fans and mentioned that as his hair has faster growth, it wouldn’t be until long when the fans will witness his long hair.
