Are you tired of watching the same old saas bahu saga? Then here we bring a piece of good news that would give you a breath of fresh air.

Yes readers, the popular Bengali channel Zee Bangla is all set to launch a new serial titled “Bedeni Moluyar Kwatha”, which is a fairy tale romance-revenge drama.    

Talking about the same, director and producer, Raj Chakraborty quipped, “We are excited about this project. Moving away from the regular saas bahu serials, we have tried to offer something new to our audience and thus this story.”

He added, “We have done a lot of experiments as it is a fairytale. Audiences would get to view a lot of animation. There are three talking snakes in the story namely Hira, Panna and Chuni.  We are hopeful that the show would be liked by both the kids and the retired aged people.” 

Now coming to the plot, the serial, set against the backdrop of a glorious kingdom and a snake charming tribe, will trace the love story of Surya Kumar (Gaurab) and Moluya (Tumpa). Surya is the son of Vikram, who is the king of Surya Nagar, while Moluya is the daughter of a Bede (snake charmer). The two will enact a wedding as kids promising to stay together forever. The news will infuriate the king and out of anger, he will mercilessly beat up the people who belong to the Bede caste, in which Moluya’s mother will die. He will also issue a fatwa declaring the ban of people who belong to the caste of Bede in his kingdom.  

Both the kids will grow up in their respective places and their ‘marriage play’ will gradually fade away from their memories. Moluya’s father will train her in such a way that she can take the revenge of her mother’s death. She too, on her part is determined to fulfil her father’s aim.  

But destiny will have a different plan.....

Amidst the revenge drama, both Surya and Moluya will fall for each other.

Will they be able to remember their childhood marriage? Or will the revenge act as a barrier in their love story?
