Aamir Khan has added another feather to his cap by turning into a make-up artiste for his upcoming film Talaash.
For the film, actor-producer Aamir managed to do what no one else could do on sets while shooting a particular scene. For a shot, he turned a make-up man for his co-star Nawazuddin Siddique.
What happened was, one day when director Reema Kagti was shooting for a scene with Nawazuddin, she wanted a bruise mark on his face as the scene required Nawazuddin to sport marks on his face. However, none of the make-up artists present could come up with the exact look that she wanted.
Initially, Reema was not at all happy as she felt that his look wasn’t coming across as real. The bruise was looking too done up and patchy. She did not want to compromise on it since everything in the film had been kept so real, including the shooting locations. The director was keen on achieving a real bruised look to keep in line with the feel of the film. This made the shoot stall for about two hours, until Aamir stepped in.
When Aamir came out of his van and asked the reason for the delay of the shoot, he learnt about the problem and asked her to just hand him a brush and a palette and let him try! Within a few minutes Aamir did something on Nawazuddin and asked Reema what she thought about the make-up.
Much to everyone’s surprise and relief, Reema simply loved it and was ready to go ahead with the shoot. “The bruise make-up just looked real,” said a member of the crew
