Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane's son to make acting debut in Marathi movie

Actors Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane's 11-year old son Shouryaman Rana will be making his acting debut with Marathi film Bhakarkhadi 7km. The young boy would be seen in a montage sequence and has been roped in to play the younger version of the lead hero of the film, Aniket Vishwasrao. Mother Renuka Shahane who too stars in the film couldn't stop beaming and was quoted saying that it was a proud moment both as a mother and actress to see her son in a montage sequence that has both mother and son in it. Reportedly, director Umesh Namjoshi wanted a boy to play young Aniket and since he had seen Shouryaman earlier he thought the boy would fit the role to T and requested Renuka if she would allow her son to act and the actress couldn't disagree. Shouryaman shot only for a day at Shivaji Park in Dadar. The movie traces the story of an aspiring young surgeon whose dreams of settling in the US gets shattered due to an untoward incident.
