Censor Board passes John Abraham's Madras Cafe with U/A certificate

The Censor Board has cleared Shoojit Sircar’s political thriller Madras Cafe with a U/A certificate. The film received a clean chit minus cuts. Says a delighted Shoojit, “I am immensely happy that my film has been passed by the Censors without any cuts. This is a very special project for us and I am glad the audiences will get to experience this political thriller soon.” Madras Café set with the backdrop of an inter-country relation revolves around John Abraham an intelligence officer who uncovers the workings of secret operations. The movie, co-produced by Viacom Motion Pictures, JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films, stars John Abraham, Nargis Fakhri, Rashi Khanna, Leena Maria and ad gurus Agnello Dias and Piyush Pandey. Madras Café is scheduled to release on 23 August (2013).
