Muslims are secure under Narendra Modi’s leadership - Salim Khan

Salim Khan
Narendra Modi seems to have found some serious support from Salman Khan’s family. After Salman’s kite flying bonhomie, today his father, legendary script writer Salim Khan launched Narendra Modi’s Urdu website at their residence, Galaxy Apartments, in Bandra, this afternoon. The http://www.narendramodi.in/lng/urdu/ was launched by Salim Khan in the presence of Shaina NC from the BJP. Endorsing Modi as the leader of the future, Salim Khan said that Muslims are secure under Modi’s leadership and also urged his Muslim brethren to move forward. “Muslims are safe in Gujarat and have to move forward now. They have issues of unemployment, education and housing. Muslmaano ko kya lena dena hain politics se. Unhe toh do waqt ki roti chaiye aur ghar chaiye.( Muslims have nothing to do with politics. All they need is food and shelter).” Salim Khan however refused to comment on whether Salman Khan too is supporting Modi. Steering clear from expressing his direct political affiliations, Salim said, “I used to vote for the Congress. But now I am unhappy with them on certain issues. Today, no party is completely secular.” Praising the initiative of launching a website in Urdu, Salim said that this initiative will keep the language alive. “I will contribute in my own way to Modi’s Urdu website.” Looks like Modi is pulling the right strings in his attempt to woo Muslim voters. It remains to be seen how the Khan support will benefit Modi in the general elections.
