Rajkumar Hirani to officiate as jury in the upcoming Beijing International Film Festival

Rajkumar Hirani is an honoured man! The noted director, who has given us films like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, Lage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots, has been invited to be a part of the jury by the Beijing International Film Festival (BIFF)-2014. The director feels extremely humbled by this offer as with the invitation, he becomes the first Bollywood personality to be invited by the BJIFF. At the Festival, Hirani will share the jury table with some of the big names from the film industry including China's Lu Chuan, Ireland's Jim Sheridan, France's Philippe Muyl, Spanish producer Andrés Vicente Gómez and Italian actress Maria Grazia Cucinotta. Here, it may be noted that Hirani gained huge fame in China with 3 Idiots that was the first Indian film to do huge business and become a household name. The 4th BJIFF will be held between 16 and 23 April, 2014.
