Alan Rickman has been one of the most prominent stars in British stage and Hollywood films.
BAFTA and Golden Globe award winning actor breathed his last at the age of 69.
As per the media reports post his death, Rickman’s family members released a statement in the media communicating that the actor was suffering from cancer for a long time, which resulted in his death.
Loved by all his fans across the globe, Alan Rickman is known for his character portrayal in films like Truly, Madly, Deeply, Sense and Sensibility, Love Actually and many others. Rickman became a household name with the Harry Potter series, where he essayed the character of Professor Severus Snape.
