Twitter is slowly replacing the war field as the place to have epic showdowns. The latest fight to shake up Twitter is of stand-up comedian Karan Talwar aka Bollywood Gandu and Abhishek Bachchan.
Talwar, who’s known for taking pot-shots at the Bollywood fraternity, went a step further when he tweeted out to Jr B this:
Life is not about answers but questions.
Where is my career going?
Am I making enough money?
Why am I still following @juniorbachchan?
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) October 28, 2015
Jr B, who’s always been known for his dignified reply and quick wit, came back with this gem:
Here are the answers:
@BollywoodGandu here are the answers: 1. Nowhere 2. For your skill set? Hell yeah! 3. I don’t know. I unfollowed you years ago.
— Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) October 28, 2015
What ensued was a barrage of heated exchanges between the two where Talwar kept on attacking Abhishekh, while the latter retorted with crisp replies that spoke volumes about his classy upbringing and confidence. Like this one…
.@juniorbachchan looks like you and I have a lot in common. Except whatever little I've made of myself - it's without my papas help.
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) October 28, 2015
@BollywoodGandu wow!!! Great come back buddy. Never heard that before. Ouch!
— Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) October 28, 2015
The stand-up comedian was not ready to back down, who sent out another tweet where he tried to belittle Abhishek’s career.
@juniorbachchan what to do, this is why the career has gone nowhere.
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) October 28, 2015
@juniorbachchan my gratitude for this undeserved notoriety will never die. Until I see Hera Pheri 3 and witness you ruin another franchise.
— Karan Talwar (@BollywoodGandu) October 28, 2015
But of course, the Bachchan son knows how to give it back like a pro, so he did…well, just that.
@BollywoodGandu and unlike you…. Whatever I am today is because if my family. And am very proud of that.
— Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) October 28, 2015
@BollywoodGandu aww. That’s sweet thank you! Know what? You gained a few followers. Guess that means I made you a bit more famous! Congrats
— Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) October 28, 2015
Even the twitterati was on the Bollywood actors’ side as not many were amused by Talwar’s tweets.
The Jr Bachchan, who was last seen in All is Well, will appear on Priyadarshan’s hit franchise Hera Phera 3, along with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty. While Rawal and Shetty reprise their roles from the first two films, Abhishek will be the new face of the movie, replacing Akshay Kumar. The cast also includes John Abraham, Neha Sharma and Esha Gupta. The movie is all set to hit the theatres in 2016.
