MUMBAI: Since making her debut in the film Baazigar in 1993, Shilpa Shetty has appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films, her first leading role being in Aag. Her performances in Dhadkan and Rishtey were appreciated, while her portrayal of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge won her many accolades.

The actress has garnered a lot of love and appreciation from fans all over the globe. She never fails to impress her fans with her social media posts, from her cooking diaries to fitness routine. She is a fitness freak who is often seen sharing health pointers online.

In the game show Backbenchers on Flipkart, which is hosted by Farah Khan, the actress was present along with Anil Kapoor in an episode. She revealed that she was 16 and half years old when she did an ad and got 5000 rupees as her first income. She gave that money to her mom. Well, isn't that sweet?
