Mahira Khan's dream of working with King Khan has come true quite soon. The Pakistani actress who is a self-confessed SRK fan has now landed a role opposite the superstar in Ritesh Sidhwani produced Raees. And guess what? Mahira will be playing Shah Rukh Khan's wife in the movie.
Raees directed by Rahul Dholakia will see SRK playing a gangster from Gujarat while Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing a cop who would trap SRK.
Reportedly, SRK dropped into meet Mahira during her audition.
It was not too long ago that Mahira had told us in an interview that she is a big SRK fan and has been one ever since she watched DDLJ and used to fight with her friends in her bid to prove that SRK is the best. She even went on to say that SRK is an actor she would like to romance onscreen. "It is the characters that SRK plays that you fall in love with and not SRK himself. All the characters that he has essayed are lovely," Mahira had then told us.
The other actor who Mahira wants to romance onscreen is Ranbir Kapoor. Well, we hope this dream too comes true soon as well.
