Aamir Khan is gung ho that his completion of 25 years in the industry that started with the release of <em>Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak</em> in 1988, coincides with the centenary year of Indian cinema.
"My completion of 25 years in the industry coincides with 100 years of cinema and it makes me feel all the more special,” quipped the actor.
He was speaking at a meet-the-press event held in honour of this Mr. Perfectionist having completed 25 years in the industry.

Later, when a journo wanted to have his take on Bombay Talkies that has been made by four prominent directors namely Dibakar Banerjee, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap to celebrate the landmark of Indian cinema, Aamir got ecstatic and said, “I am happy that the Indian cinema has completed 100 years and am happy to be part of this industry. As a matter of fact, I was looking to make a film on 100 years of cinema since I wanted to do something but couldn't."
Talking of an unfulfilled wish, the actor said that he wished he could have got a chance to work with legendary actor Dilip Kumar.
"Dilip saab is my favourite actor, I am a huge fan of him. He has influenced me a lot. I wish I could have got an opportunity to work with him. His influence has been huge on my life. I have learnt a lot seeing his work. He is a top and great actor that we have," he ended.
