After a record-breaking popularity of season 1, the second season of GPL (Gokuldham Premiere League) on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah kick started on June 28. The two teams Daya Dandiya Devils and Blaster Babita look all set to have some full-on time pass. And to make the proceedings more interesting, Parthiv Patel and Irfan Pathan will be seen cheering the two teams of Gokuldham society. “Parthiv will be seen in GPL 2 supporting the teams. Irfan would make an appearance later on the show,” confirms Dharmesh Mehta, the director of the show. Apparently, Parthiv’s episode shall be aired on July 1 while Irfan’s would be on July 7. Speaking about GPL, Mehta says, “It will be a 10-10 over match between the two teams. We all had a great time shooting it and it was a superb experience. I can proudly say that something like this has never been shown on Indian television.”
