Rahul took to Instagram to share images of the multiple tickets he was forced to purchase. “These boarding cards are worth 4.20 lakhs and it’s just till Bombay…(sic),” he wrote.

He further added, “And now Mumbai to Kolkata will be separate! This is the most expensive domestic travel ever done by me.”

In another post, Rahul expressed his frustration more directly, criticising the airline’s response to the chaos. “Indigo Airlines, it’s almost impressive how awful you are! No words!” he wrote, highlighting the growing dissatisfaction among affected passengers.

Television actress Nia Sharma also drew attention to the ongoing disruption through her social media updates.

She reshared a post by Make Up By Astha, which showed a makeup artist rushing to catch a flight, and later posted an update once the artist had finally landed. Nia captioned the post, “Thank you Indigo for sending my team (sic).”

In another video, Nia described how her team members reached their destination in separate batches, saying, “Hum jo 5 instalments mein alag-alag pahunche hain apne destination pe….” She added, “In this chaotic world and the airport’s bhasad, we all made it one by one. From morning to night, we just made it.”

She also extended her best wishes to passengers who were still struggling with the ongoing travel disruptions.
