MUMBAI: Reflecting on the first spine-chilling weekend of MTV Dark Scroll - Muqabla Anjaan Se, host, Amit Sadh said, “Things were just warming up in the initial episodes. The locations, the seekers-everyone is just getting started. There's so much more in store for our audience and I can't wait for you all to experience it.”

Teasing the upcoming episode, he said, “Something sinister is brewing at the next location and we had a big incident involving one of the seekers. Trust me, the excitement is only ramping up. Make sure to catch MTV Dark Scroll-you won’t want to miss it!”

As Seekers embark on their first task of MTV Dark Scroll - Muqabla Anjaan Se, as Amit Sadh unfurled the spooky scroll and introduced ‘Lambi Dhar Mines’ the first location in Uttarakhand. These limestone mines, once operated by the British, hold a dark history where over fifty thousand laborers met their end through suffocation. Divided into teams of three, the Seekers were instructed to provoke the lingering spirits within the mines. Paranormal Expert Sarbajeet Mohanty and Psychic Pooja Vijay warned them of the ominous entities that lurked in the shadows.

The investigation began with Team One—Kartik, Swati, and Angel—tasked with communicating with the entity of the mine’s manager. Following the three stages of paranormal investigation-acclimatize, trigger, and communicate-they set to work. Angel was soon overwhelmed by a strange, strong odor as Kartik activated the REM-Pod, a device that detects spiritual energy. Moments later, a siren blared through the eerie silence. To provoke the entity further, Kartik sat in the manager's chair and indulged in his favorite dish, matar paneer. The siren wailed once more, and Swati and Angel joined Kartik, sensing the presence of the entity.

As the atmosphere grew heavy, a loud stomp echoed through the mines and the REM-Pod's lights flickered, signaling the entity's approach. When Angel inquired if the spirit would harm them if provoked, the lights blinked furiously, marking the end of their investigation with a chilling response.

Next, Team Two-Sahil, Anubhuti, and Paarth-entered the haunted mines to connect with the spirits of the long-deceased miners. Sahil, embodying the role of the manager, challenged the entities, while Anubhuti and Paarth guided them towards the manager's cabin. When Sahil requested their presence, the lights turned green, signaling the entities' acknowledgment. The team then confronted the spirits, asking about their deadly shifts and the toxic gasses that claimed their lives. The entities responded with a warning-the manager's spirit would harm them if he discovered their presence. With the spirits' tragic tales revealed, Amit Sadh instructed the team to conclude their investigation. Sarbajeet and Pooja confirmed it was a successful start to the season, as significant answers had been uncovered.

The final investigation was led by Team Three-Aryan, Mian and Sasa-who were tasked with communicating with the spirits of children believed to be trapped within the mines. Psychic Pooja Vijay warned the team not to mock the situation, as the children’s spirits were particularly sensitive. Amit Sadh explained that Sasa would play the role of the trigger, breaking toys to provoke the spirits, while Mian and Aryan would gather the remaining toys. As soon as Sasa confirmed the presence of the entities, she began breaking the toys, triggering the children’s spirits. When the last siren blared, Mian and Aryan joined Sasa in the basement, where they discovered a horrifying truth: the entities were unaware they were dead.

During the session, Mian and Aryan spotted an entity through the Thermal Cam. As they brought the remaining toys to Sasa, she continued to break them, yet the entities grew unresponsive. In a moment of grave error, Aryan broke the cardinal rule by revealing to the spirits that they were dead, putting the team's lives in danger. Sarbajeet and Pooja were deeply disturbed by Aryan’s mistake. Afterward, Amit Sadh questioned the Seekers about their harrowing experiences, noting a shift in the perspectives of even the most skeptical among them.

Amit Sadh’s frustration peaked when Kartik pulled a reckless stunt by climbing a window and dangling his legs outside during the investigation. Furious, Amit scolded him, “Was this a task? Aap ghir jaate, aapko chot lagti, kaun jawab deta? Plus yeh sab karke aap yaha ki entities ko disrespect kar rahe hain. Agar woh aggravate ho jaate ya kuch ho jaata! Aap log isko mazaak samaj rahe ho. You are on this show as Seekers. Please don't forget that!”

As for Aryan, who had violated the sacred rule during the investigation, he was given a daunting dare as punishment. He was ordered to stay in the basement of Lambi Dhar Mines until the first light of dawn, positioned between two mirrors facing each other—a known dangerous portal. Aryan was surrounded by motion sensors, and if fear overtook him, he was to press a buzzer to be sent home. Aryan endured the night, and as dawn broke, Amit Sadh ended the dare, granting Aryan a second chance on the show, acknowledging that he had learned from his mistake.
