APJ Abdul Kalam to launch actor Kunal Kumar's documentary

We all know that Kunal Kumar aka Balu of Gutur Gu is a talented actor, but not many are aware that he is also a director, who has directed many short films, some of which has won international acclaim as well. Now, this director seems to be on cloud nine regarding his latest documentary on Brahma Kumari’s Organization. Wondering what actually happened? Well the news is that the actor, who has recently directed a documentary film, entitled ORC Retreat Centre- An Oasis of Peace, will soon be launched by India’s Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. The film is based on the ideologies of Brahma Kumari’s Organization, an international spiritual organization with its headquarters based at Mt. Abu, India. The Annual Day programme of the organization will be held from 5th to 7th December, where Dr. Kalam will launch Kunal’s film ORC Retreat Centre- An Oasis of Peace. When we spoke to the actor, he commented, “I am very spiritual in nature and I personally believe that it’s not absolutely my credit. Many other forces are helping me to achieve this. Definitely this is indeed a prestigious achievement for me”. “I have been into direction since 2004. This film is based on the ideologies of Brahma Kumari’s Organization. I was there in Gurgaon, Haryana at their main office Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC) to shoot the film and it is really a wonderful place to be. This film has been made to spread their message and ideologies to a wider audiences”, added the actor excitedly. After international acclaim one more feather to this young actor’s cap.
