Badtameez Dil to now air on Hotstar

Badtameez Dil

All you fans of Badtameez Dil, if you have been feeling low...time to rejoice!

Hadn’t the news of the show’s abrupt end made you miserable? Weren’t you craving for it to continue?

We are finally here with a very good news!

Star Plus has decided to retain Badtameez Dil but not on the channel!

Then how, you ask?

Well, the channel has decided to air the popular youth drama on their digital platform Hotstar.

Woahhh!!!

Shared a source, “Badtameez Dil is the #1 show on Hotstar and with it getting more response digitally than on GEC, the channel and producer decided to opt for this unique method. It is a new trend and for the first time a daily will air on a digital platform.”

As viewers would know, the passionate love story stars Pearl V Puri and Asmita Sood in the leads as Abeer and Meher. It is produced by the creative and talented Saurabh Tewari under his banner Saurabh Tewari Films.

Now coming to the content on Hotstar, the makers are yet to finalise the details. Whether the story will continue from the point it will wrap up or begin from a new start is yet to be decided.

Added the source, “There would be some definite changes but the essence and flavour of the show will be continued. Also the main characters would be intact but be prepared for some changes in some faces also.”

Nevertheless for now fans can rejoice, as the love story of Meher and Abeer will continue to rule their hearts.

Badtameez Dil will air its last episode on Star Plus on 26 September. And in most probability hit Hotstar from the second week of October.

We tried reaching Saurabh but could not connect with him.

The channel representatives also couldn’t confirm the developments.

This is surely a unique method of bringing fans and their favourite shows together. Do share your take on this!
