MUMBAI: Being competitive is what keeps the winning streak going, and no one understands this better than telly town celebrities. They have to struggle and give a series of auditions to be considered or finalized for a role. And they don’t always end up getting the role.
The dashing duo that made their debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Mahabharat, Mrunal Jain and Kunal Thakur, are back with a Tennis Premier League, which is set to air in October.
We reported earlier about the TPL having six teams that have will have six telly town divas as the faces of the teams. Local players will comprise their teams. The beauties will also compete against one another.
We already reported that Pooja Gor (Neon Army), Rashmi Desai (Binny Brigade), Aishwarya Sakhuja (Black Panther), Sumona Chakravarty (Sea Hawks), and Tejaswi Prakash (Stallions) will head five of the six teams.
A little birdie shares with us that for the final team, the founders and the organizers have approached the charismatic Barkha Sengupta and the stunning Adaa Khan.
Sources confirm that the choice is between the two beauties, who have each set her own benchmark in the field of fitness.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Mrunal who confirmed with us of being in talks with Barkha and Adda, “As both are traveling and we haven’t got any final confirmation from their end. So we are just hoping to get a confirmation soon,” shares Mrunal Jain .
We tried reaching out to Barkha and Adaa, but both remained unavailable for comment.
