MUMBAI: It's applaud worthy to witness how male leads are nailing their roles on-screen by complimenting their on-screen female counterparts, without compromising on their on-screen character's importance and rather, retaining their masculine yet righteous properties.
The art of displaying complex conflicts in the path of ice-breaking regarding the establishment of the term 'equality' amid the male and the female leads of a Hindi soap is the most alluring feature of modern-day shows.
From defending their point of views to understanding societal crisis and to finally accepting the new life-patterns, our on-screen male protagonists are beautifully displaying their character's dynamic transformation on the grounds of mutual understanding, just as it should be in reality. Actor Karanvir Sharma portrays the role of Shaurya in Star Plus' Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani. His character was introduced as a selfish man who believes in old-age chauvinistic ideas regarding gender-based equality and has walls around him for not having his mother around him in his days of sensitive development.
However, his sets of values and ethics break and evolve post-encountering his college's career-oriented and bright student Anokhi, for whom Shaurya has developed feelings lately.
Well, the actor sure entertains us on television but did you know he was a part of some Bollywood projects as well?
Karanvir has been a part of Azhar, Shaadi Mein Zarur Ana among some other films but filming one scene of Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani took him back to the days when he filmed for Zid where he starred in the lead role parallel to Mannara and Shraddha Das!
This project was a 2014 release by Benaras Media Works and was directed by Vivek Agnihotri. (Also Read: Neena Gupta to play Big B's wife in 'Goodbye')
