MUMBAI: Astha Agarwal is a talented artist and while she has been seen in television shows such as Shubharambh and Kya Haal Panchaal?, she is currently seen in Star Plus show Imlie playing the role of Nidhi.
In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com Aastha got candid about her experience shooting for the show. She mentioned, “It has been an overwhelming journey so far. As for my bonding with co-actors Sumbul Toqueer is very talented. In fact, she is an expert when it comes to acting the dialect in the show is different. I had my doubts initially but I must say she is very fluent in English as well. I had seen her in Article 15 and I must say that as much as she is a smart girl, she is a smarter actress. When she performs one would not be able to make out the backgrounds belongs from because she is so much into the character.
As for Gashmeer, he too is very talented.”
When asked about what made her give a nod to the character of Nidhi, Astha shared, “I have done Shubharambh and before that Kya Haal Panchal. I wanted to do something which is different and breaks my character image because what I played then was very strong and it kind of became iconic as well. It was much loved and I wanted to showcase that I can perform regular characters equally well. Additionally, I do not need to make any effort to play energy because I am quite similar to the character which is bubbly and chirpy!”
