MUMBAI: Zee TV show Meet is soon going on-air and the audience cannot wait to watch the show as it not only brings a fresh pairing of Ashi Singh and Shagun Pandey but the concept of the show is also very unique.
The show is touted to be a remake of popular Bengali show Bokul Kotha. It is a story of Meet, a tomboyish girl, who looks after all the responsibilities of her family. After much drama and confusion, she gets married to Rishi who has rejected around 40 women already.
The makers have already released the first promo which features Ashi Singh.
We connected with actor Pratham Kunwar, who happens to be a part of the show. In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, he shared, “I had a great experience working on the show. It is always good to be working with talented artists in the likes of Shagun Pandey, Ashi Singh, Vaishnavi Macdonald, Sooraj Thapar and the others. Other than that, I was excited to play the role I was offered as it is quite meaty. The concept of the show that what boys can do, girls can do it too is inspiring and different. People will get inspired towards this. I guess people will love this because the character of the girl is cool and different. In start she is playing a delivery person. She does all that work that boys do. I don’t think that this much bold concept has come on television as yet.”
Speaking about his look and whether there is anything he would like to change in his role, Pratham said, “My look is very stylish and rich. In Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, I was rich and in this I am all the more rich. So there is not a lot of changes. I had been told that I have to dress like Aayushman Khurana. And designers have worked alot on this. I don’t want to change anything. I had said yes to this character because I loved it alot. Because there is a grey shade my character gets all the more interesting.”
