One such example is Aarya Babbar from Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah, who has been working day and night for his role as Kalikant Thakur in the show. In fact, his look has sparked comparisons to the late legendary Vinod Khanna from his classic film Mera Gaon Mera Desh. Aarya’s modern twist to Vinod’s character Jabbar Singh from the movie, with earthy tones and rugged outfits, feels fresh.
