Imlie: AUDIENCE PERSPECTIVE! The netizens call the plot of Imlie repetitive and predictable

Imlie’s story has taken a significant turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and Imlie season 2 starting. Imlie: AUDIENCE PERSPECTIVE! The netizens call the plot of Imlie repetitive and predictable

MUMBAI : Imlie is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, being among the top 4 shows when it comes to the BARC ratings. The story has taken a significant turn with Aryan and Imlie’s death and as Imlie season 2 starts.

We saw a huge leap in the show after which Imlie and Chini are all grown up. The latest plot has been about Atharva and Imlie’s life post-marriage. Atharva still loves Chini and she is constantly trying to create issues between Atharva and Imlie.

The plot before the leap also followed the same lines where Malini tried to create differences between Aryan and Imlie. Similarly, Chini keeps trying to create issues between Atharva and Imlie. Problems arise for some time and then the two reconcile. Chini makes another plan and the cycle goes on.

The netizens have expressed their disappointment regarding the same. They feel only the characters have changed but the plotline is the same.

Here is what they had to say:

Pratha Sahay: I find the plot very repetitive and it is the same as what was happening before the leap. The writers are not bringing anything new to the story and it feels very predictable. I wish there was something different that we as the audience would not expect.

Preeti Mishra: the plot is the same, only the characters are different. Chini is constantly trying to create issues, Imlie sorts it out and Chini plans something new. At this point even I know what will happen next. I need something cryptic and unpredictable to be hooked to the show and that element is missing.

Srishti Shrivastava: I don’t understand why the writers are so stuck on the same old storyline. Chini being the antagonist creates issues, and fails because Imlie being the protagonist sorts everything out. I understand this is how daily soap works but why certain things can’t change? The show has such a high TRP; the writers can write so well and attract more audience.

Ruhi Sidwani: With so much creative liberty, the writers still go back to the same old plot lines. They have written the same things before but still choose to do it again. The show has such a high TRP and I don’t understand why. The plot is so repetitive and not at all experimental.
