MUMBAI: Indian Telly Awards 2025 was a star-studded affair. Television's true spirit was celebrated and people from on and offscreen were rewarded for their hardwork and passion.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, Samridhii Shukla shared a recent incident from the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and mentioned that she wanted to apologize to co-actor Rohit Purohit.
In an interview with TCX, Samridhhi and Rohit were asked about their give and take during shoots and Samridhhi said, "There was a recent scene in the show wherein I couldn't deliver what the director was expecting. It was not striking the right chord. Rohit and I both were giving our close-up shots. He had to constantly cry. I wanted to say sorry also but I couldn't because I was caught up in my zone."
She added, "It's not easy. I am messing up or I am taking a while to understand my character and performance but he also has to cry continuously and without any fuss or making it obvious. One can make the other person comfortable with just a sigh or maybe some gesture but I am so glad that that doesn't happen with us. I hope it remains like this."
Samridhhi and Rohit both lifted trophies for their performances in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
