MUMBAI: Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty is one of the most loved and celebrated actresses on television. She rose to fame with her performance as Kavya in Anupamaa.

She has become a household name and the audiences love her portrayal of Kavya.

Though many hate her character as she is the one coming in between Anupamaa and Vanraj but they compliment Madalsa for her performance too.

The show is a huge success and it keeps topping the TRP ratings and the audiences somewhere connect to the storyline.

A lesser-known fact is that Madalsa has done a lot of movies down south and Bollywood so team Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her to talk about the difference between shooting for a movie and a TV show.

The actress said that Television is really quick when it comes to shooting as they need to submit episodes on a daily basis. Every day there is a telecast and there is so much scope to perform and so many lines to deliver so as an actor you are doing a lot of work in one take.

She further said that while working for a movie they are required to commit a certain number of days. One schedule gets over and then they move to another whereas, in television, they need to act on a daily basis. Also, it lets an actor connect with the audience on a daily basis. She feels TV gives more exposure to an actor.

We also asked her what she feels about if the shooting should stop or continue owing to the rise in COVID cases to which the actress said that the shooting should go on with utmost precautions and safety as shutting down completely will affect the economy and many households will suffer.
