Bharti convinced her husband to do 'Khatron Ke Khiladi"
Comedian Bharti Singh's husband Harsh Limbachiyaa says it was his wife who motivated him to participate in the stunt-based reality showKhatron Ke Khiladi.
"When I was offered the show, I wasn't quite sure and had second thoughts about taking it up. My wife Bharti always encourages me to take up different challenges off screen and on-screen. Because of her motivation, I could also perform a lot of stunts including the ones involving reptiles which was my biggest fear," he said in a statement.
Harsh and Bharti, who tied the knot in 2017, have participated together in the show which will air on Colors TV from 5 January 2019.
Apart from the couple, celebrities like Aditya Narayan, Shamita Shetty, Vikas Gupta and Aly Goni are among the participants in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9.
Pets give more opportunities to socialise: Nausheen Ali Sardar
Kkusum fame actress Nausheen Ali Sardar says she enjoys the company of pets as they give more opportunities to socialise.
"I love spending time with my pets. In no time, cats became my favourite pets. I feel animals have an uncanny ability to transcend social barriers. It is much easier to strike up a conversation with a person who has an adorable animal than someone who does not.
"This social interaction, however brief, can increase feelings of happiness and help you feel more connected to your community," Nausheen said in a statement.
Nausheen is currently portraying the character of Mallika in a TV show titled Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga.
My family is critical about my work: Gulfam Khan
Actress Gulfam Khan, who has featured in TV shows like Naamkarann and Laado 2, says her family is quite critical about her work.
She is currently essaying the role of Nazneen in the show Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga.
"My family is very critical about my work. But when I entered my sister's house three days ago, my niece called out to me, 'Aao Aladdin ki chachi', that in itself is an achievement for me. It feels so nice when you are known by the character you have portrayed," Gulfam said in a statement.
Gulfam said late legendary actress Manorama is her inspiration for the role.
"The inspiration for this character clearly came from legendary actress Manorama, who played the chachi in the film Seeta aur Geeta. She inspires everything that Nazneen does."
New 'Super Dancer' 10 notches better than past seasons: Shilpa Shetty
Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra says talent in the third season of Super Dancer is 10 notches higher than the previous two seasons of the dance reality TV show.
Shilpa interacted with the media at the launch of the third season of Super Dancer, along with her co-judges Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor here on Wednesday.
On the participants of the third season of Super Dancer, Shilpa said, "We were mesmerised when we saw this year's talent in Super Dancer. It is unbelievable to see this kind of talent in today's generation.
"I honestly felt that it will exhaust after the second season of Super Dancer. We felt that from where we will find superior talent than season two, but I can say that the kind of talent we have in the third season of Super Danceris better than previous two seasons. I feel it is ten notches higher, so you have to just wait and watch for it."
Shilpa said it is amazing to see talent which is self-learned. "They have learned various kinds of dance forms by watching videos from all over the world.
Basu further said, "Initially, when we were judging the contestants for this season, we felt that they are not better than contestants of the previous two seasons. So that time, we were a bit scared, but slowly we started to see some really amazing talent on the show.
"I think they have taken this show one level higher than the previous seasons. This show is an audio-visual medium, so it will be challenge for all of us including contestants to make show better from every aspect, so now we are hoping for the best."
Super Dancer Chapter 3 will give an opportunity to young dance aspirants between the age groups of four to 13 years. It will be telecast on Sony Entertainment Television.
Manish Goel wants to play Devdas
Actor Manish Goel wants to play the character of Devdas on-screen.
The story of Devdas has been adapted from the novel for the big screen time and again, and performed by icons like Guru Dutt, Dilip Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan.
"I enjoy doing challenging roles. I have a dream role to create Devdas. His story excites me a lot. And the role has every shades to play. I really want to play and create Devdas on-screen," Manish said in a statement.
Manish is currently a part of supernatural TV show Tantra.

TV hottie Kanwar Dhillon entered the show in the role of Jai's NRI brother, Samrat. Kanwar's was an important negative character in the show and played catalyst in Jay and Aadhya's story. Versatile actor Rohitashv Gour won awards for four consecutive years in ITA awards. This year he has won the best actor for Sanjay and Binaifer Kohli's popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. He told me only one thing that I must prepare myself first as an actor. Then he advised me to go to National School of Drama and by God's grace, I got selected from Himachal to go to the prestigious NSD. The only reason that I want to dedicate this award to my father because many parents forbade their children to go into this field but my father always supported my decision and encouraged me," he added.
Speaking about his inspiration, he said, "Firstly, I would like to say that I am not a comic actor rather I am an actor who can do comedy as well, I consider myself a versatile actor. There are many versatile actors whom I follow they are Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Late Om Puri Sahab. In the current lot, actor Rajkumar Rao is a versatile actor, I love his acting skills. Even Sunil Grover is a great versatile artist."
