Minister Kapil Sibal pens patriotic song for Zee TV

Time to get patriotic…folks!!! A few days back, Tellychakkar.com had reported that Zee TV is shooting a special patriotic song video for the occasion of Independence Day (15 August 2013). Now we have more info on the same. Our sources have shared that If sources are to be believed politician Kapil Sibal has penned the lyrics of the song. Kapil Sibal currently is the Law Minister of India as well as the Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Law and Justice. The number has been sung by Neeti Mohan and Raghav Sachar. Raghav has also composed the song. Furthermore, we also hear that this music video will narrate the story of an army officer’s family. This officer gets killed during a war but, his daughter and son carry forward his legacy and join Indian Armed Force. His son becomes an army officer while his daughter is an air force officer. The daughter is being played by Swati Rajput who was last seen in Shaitan and the son’s role will be essayed by Vicky Arora who was last seen in Rab Se Sohna Isshq. We hear that the story will be played throughout the song while actors from different Zee TV shows will be seen lip-syncing a few lines in between the story. When contacted Swati said, “Yes, I am a part of this music album and I took it up as I got to do push-ups and crunches on-screen. There are a lot of other tasks too that you’ll see me completing in the video.” Vicky too confirmed and said, “Yes, I am very much a part of the album and it’s nice to be back working with Zee.” It is a 5 minutes album and it will start airing from 1 August 2013.
