MUMBAI:  MTV Roadies is one of the longest-running and most-viewed reality shows. This youth show has an immense fan following and many dream about becoming a Roadie.

However, being a Roadie is not a piece of cake. Right from group interviews to personal interview rounds, it takes a lot to be on a journey of becoming a Roadie and winning the title.

Last season, the concept had been changed. The ‘life’ of the show, Rannvijay wasn’t a part of it. The actor was replaced by Sonu Sood.

Sonu Sood has returned as the host for the new season and he is doing a fantastic job!

This season, the concept of gang leaders is back; Rhea Chakraborty, Prince Narula, and Gautam Gulati are the new leaders of the season.

The show is doing exceptionally well and is grabbing the headlines for the continued fights between Prince, Gautam and Rhea.

Shayan Siddiqui looked promising in the show but then unfortunately he was eliminated as he didn’t get a chance to perform.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shayan and asked him if he would do Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi and spoke about Sonu Sood hosting the show.

There was an impression of Rhea Chakraborty before entering the show but now that you were part of the show? What do you have to say about  her?

Even before entering the show I am the kind of person who doesn’t get bothered about these media headlines and the impression that I have of her is basically on her nature and the person that I have seen on the show because I know that in the media a lot of manipulation happens and it's difficult to trust. The big headlines and its difficult to say it’s the face and after I met and her nature is sweet and down to earth but the only complain I have is that she should have been a bit unbiased and played the game in fair content and giving equal opportunities to all her team members as a person she is kind.

Are you open to doing reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss?

Definitely I am open in doing any shows that comes my way whichever shows be it I am open in doing it but nothing series now.

In the earlier seasons Raanvijay was the main person and since the two seasons Sonu Sood has become the host so could you say something about that?

Sonu Sood as a complete different vibe the nature that comes on the camera is a very gentle person and role model for us and as far as Ranvijay is concerned her was the face of the show and he used to bring a spark between two people and used to take the drama one notch up and that was lacking in Sonu Sood, though in this season there wasn’t any lack of drama. Sonu carried the show in his own way.

Well, Shayan seemed promising in the show but unfortunately was eliminated as he wasn’t given many chances.
