Munawar Faruqui lights up the new year bash while Karan Veer Mehra and Dalal's beard battle heats up on COLORS' 'Bigg Boss 18'

MUMBAI: The New Year celebrations in COLORS' 'Bigg Boss 18' house hit fever pitch with a dazzling awards night hosted by none other than the queen of comedy, Bharti Singh. Bringing her signature flair, Bharti turns the episode into an unforgettable fiesta of laughter and surprises. The star-studded evening gets an extra dose of hilarity as Munawar Faruqui lights up the stage with a stand-up performance that leaves housemates in splits.

Munawar’s sharp wit spares no one as he playfully roasts Rajat Dalal, poking fun at his notorious jail stint and less-than-stellar driving skills. Turning his comedic radar on Karan, Munawar conjures a cheeky vision of the future where Indian states earn fame as Karan’s ever-expanding in-law territories. The laughs don’t stop there as he teases Avinash Mishra, advising him to take a page from Shalin Bhanot’s book if he’s serious about wooing Eisha, adding fuel to the gossip fire in true Bigg Boss style.

But these festivities have a fiery background! Before the celebrations, Bigg Boss stirs up the drama with a unique twist designed to tackle housemates’ recurring behavioral issues. In a make-believe game, contestants don white coats and become doctors, tasked with diagnosing and treating their peers’ so-called bimari. With unconventional treatments like mud baths, methi laddus, bitter karela juice, icy beds, and even shocking therapy, the tension escalates.  

Doctors Karan and Avinash zero in on Rajat Dalal, labeling his tendency to break promises as a chronic affliction. The prescribed remedy is an embarrassing beard shave. Despite Rajat’s heated protests and threats of payback, Karan boldly runs the trimmer along both sides of Rajat’s face, sparking a volcanic retaliation. The tables quickly turn as a fuming Rajat vows to return the favor by shaving off Karan’s head and beard entirely.
