MUMBAI: Star Plus' one of the most beloved shows - Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is being lauded both by it's critics and viewers, owing to it's spicy and twisty plotline.

Herein, telly actors like Ayesha Singh, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Kishori Shahane, Shailesh Datar, Yash Pandit, Bharati Patil and Mitali Nag play the pivotal on-screen characters of Sai Chavan, Virat Chavan, Patralekha (Pakhi) Chavan, Bhavani Chavan, Ninad Chavan, Pulkit Deshpande and Devyani Deshpande in Star Plus' popular show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. 

According to the initial storyline, ACP Virat Chavan (played by Neil Bhatt) falls in love with his former love interest Pakhi aka Patralekha (played by Aishwarya Sharma). However, with a lack of communication, Patralekha's alliance gets fixated to Virat's cousin brother Samrat. On the other hand, fate binds Virat's story with that of Inspector Kamal Joshi's daughter Sai Joshi (played by Ayesha Singh), who hails from a small village named Gadchiroli. The duo initially tie the knot just for namesake.

As the storyline progresses, looks like Virat has fallen in love with his namesake wife Sai instead, owning to her naiveness and honesty, while Pakhi joins hands with the show's real antagonist and the family's seniormost member Bhavani (played by Kishori Shahane), to oust Sai from both the Chavan family and Virat's life.

Currently, Sai is portrayed as a headstrong feminist figure who performs every ethically righteous act and she fearlessly goes against all odds to outshine in her challenges. Her determination makes Virat fall for her over and over again while Pakhi's enmity and jealousy drift her away from Virat's attention.

For the unversed, Ayesha Singh made her television debut in 2015 with the Zee TV show Doli Armaano Ki. She played the on-screen role of Ratti Sinha.

Popular telly actor Neil Bhatt had debuted in the showbiz world as a participant in a popular dance reality show - Kaboom. He also emerged as the show's winner. He had also participated in the popular dance show Boogie Woogie thenafter.

3. Aishwarya Sharma

For the unversed, engineer-turned-actress Aishwarya Sharma gave up on her marathon for higher degrees to pursue her childhood dream of acting. In 2015, she made her small-screen cameo debut in the TV show Code Red. The name of her character is unknown.

4. Kishori Shahane

After being crowned as 'Miss Mithibai' in her college days, Kishori Shahane embarked upon the showbiz world through theatre performances and her debut in Bollywood with the 1986 movie Karma, starring Dilip Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff in it's pivotal roles. Herein, Kishori played the role of Khairuddin's wife.

5. Shailesh Datar

Veteran film, TV and stage actor Shailesh Datar kickstarted his showbiz career in the Marathi theatre and television industries. He was first seen on the silver-screen in the regional (Marathi) movie Ladhaai (1999). He had a cameo role therein, whose name is unidentified.

6. Yash Pandit

Yash, who plays Dr. Pulkit Deshpande in GHKPM, debuted in the showbiz industry as a child artiste and was first seen on-screen in the famous 1985's Bollywood movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili. He played the role of Ganga's child therein.

7. Bharati Patil

Bharti Patil is always hailed as a prominent Marathi, Kannada and Hindi cinema artiste. In 1992, she started her career with the Kannada film Sangya Balya. She played the character of Ganga herein.
