MUMBAI: Star Plus show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most popular shows on television.
While Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have become household names playing the roles of Kartik and Naira on-screen, this is one daily soap that has focused on the growth of other characters as well.
The show has been quite an entertainer and the current drama revolves around Sirat being married to Ranveer. Kartik was the one who fixed Ranveer and Sirat's marriage. Just when Kartik was going to get married to Sirat, the latter's jilted lover came back into her life and claim to be in love with her, and that how they were separated by fate.
Sirat went right back to him and Kartik made sure that the two are happy and in love. However, situations have dramatically changed, and now Sirat who did not realize earlier that she had feelings for Kartik, slowly and steadily realizing that she is in love with Kartik and does not know how to make things right now. While women are often said to be the victim in a relationship, Sirat has made on the line victimized Ranveer. It is not that women are the victim in a relationship all the time and sometimes it is them who has to be blamed as clearly, in this case, it is the man who is a victim according to us.
