MUMBAI: For many television and Bollywood celebs, 'go bold or go home!' is the mantra they strictly abide by to elevate their career's flight in the showbiz industry. In the wake of all-rounded feminism, whereby body-shaming, abusing and eve-teasing are next to punishable offences, this atmosphere of personal, mental and spiritual freedom amongst girls is prompting them into shedding their former fears and limitations for taking up every risky challenge with ease, which were once considered being as 'taboo'. 

It's time women take charge of the progressive changes that are happening around in order to settle the score triumphantly. With confidence being the key to success, every woman must learn to endorse and flaunt it first before putting on the fabricated garments. The shame around girls being spotted either 'naked' or whenever their skin gets exposed beyond their clothes' reach has held back several women's confidence in facing their perpetrators, eye-to-eye. 

With the advent of a woman's mental empowerment, the time has finally arrived when one must take confidence in their naked body first before endorsing any garment/ outfit over it. This is when she learns to let go of her past inhibitions to embrace her brand new 'bold' and 'confident' self. She stops judging other women for their choice of clothes, takes responsibility for her own choices and comfort and with the essential knowledge, she's ready to please her own needs and wants before catering for that of others. Sounds selfish? Why not! There's no harm in prioritising self-love over anything else!

With every passing day, we see regular girls crawling out of their niche comfort zones to embrace the new and the unknown. These baby steps form the foundation which prompts their future acts of bravery, no matter how trivial it might show. 

Talking about garment fashion, more girls are now seen endorsing a variety of outfits and ensembles over their basic choices once they figure out that self-confidence can shatter all pre-perceived boundaries. They are now wearing backless blouses (with a saree), crop tops, shorts, ripped jeans, etc.; more often than usual. This asserts the rise of self-confidence in today's women to fear nobody's stigmas.

Now, to note in particular, where are today's girls achieving this level of self-empowerment from? Definitely through the inspirations of their favourite and ideal telly and Bolly celebrities and divas, who are grabbing the headlines every now and then for smashing the already existing rules of patriarchy. 

A few days back, telly actresses Nia Sharma and Mouni Roy (who was the lead actress in the Bollywood movie Gold) had opted out of a shirt or a blouse to create their look of the day. While Mouni skipped wearing a blouse under her saree, Nia gave the power suit a new twist by ditching wearing a shirt under her pink blazer, which was paired with white pants. Both the actresses owned their moments during their photoshoots and their self-confidence clearly reflects from their sensual pictures, which got their fans and followers intrigued and mesmerised via the clear message.

However, this is not the first time our beloved actresses went bold for their projects. Rather, it's been a continuous row of temporal revolution wherein many telly and Bolly actresses have done similar acts of boldness to put the common message forth the public, crystal-clear.  

Previously as well, many other telly and Bolly actresses were seen raising the mercury levels by going shirtless. Under celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani's guidance, who is known for shooting bold and beautiful pictures of showbiz celebrities, many Bollywood heroines muster the courage and confidence to go bold before the lens, both diligently and gracefully. For instance, 
Shershaah actress Kiara Advani once posed for the photographer totally bare-bodied, covering herself with nothing but a gigantic leaf. We salute Kiara's courage there!
