Narendra Jha joins Shweta Tiwari in Jaaswand Entertainment’s Begu Sarai for Zee TV's new channel

New channels, new shows, a different level of entertainment – this seems to be the flavour for the year 2014. News about Sony Entertainment Television launching a new channel by name Pal has already made headlines. Of course, Star Plus began the trend by launching a sister concern with Life OK; the newly formed channel is going great guns, having completed 2 years already. Now, Zee TV, the pioneer channel will launch a new channel named & (And) this year. And we hear that few big banner production houses are in plans for shows with the channel. Avid readers at Tellychakkar.com would remember reading a story way back, about talented actor Shweta Tiwari adding yet another feather in her cap by playing a negative role in a Bihar backdrop show, produced by Jaaswand Entertainment. Well, news coming in is that this particular show, titled Begu Sarai is being planned for Zee’s new channel, &. Along with Shweta Tiwari, seasoned actor Narendra Jha will be seen in the show, in a pivotal role. A source states, “The show will deal with a family feud, and Narendra Jha will be essaying a very dangerous character.” Narendra Jha, as we know has earlier been part of Rajan Shahi’s Havan, Shapath, Ek Ghar Banaunga and Samvidhan. We tried contacting Jha, but could not reach to him even after repeated attempts. Producer Sachin Mohite, Jaaswand Entertainment told us, “We have pitched a show to Zee’s new channel. But I am not aware if our show has been approved.” & is expected to launch sometime in November 2014. Watch this space for more updates.
