MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Shaadi Mubarak just completed a month and it has already become a hot favourite among the viewers. The show marks the comeback of popular TV actress Rajshree Thakur after many years. She is seen opposite Manav Gohil. Apart from the two, another well-known actor who plays a pivotal role is Rajeshwari Sachdev.
Rajeshwari has been a part of many hit TV shows in her long career span which include Dil Hi Toh Hai, Balika Vadhu, Laut Aao Trisha, among others. She has also appeared in a number of films like Rahul, Welcome Zindagi, English Babu Desi Mem, Little Buddha, among others.
The actress who was last seen in the show Dil Hi Toh Hai is now back as Kusum in Star Plus' show Shaadi Mubarak.
Rajeshwari is slaying it in the role of Kusum and fans are loving her delightful performance in the show.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar, when Rajeshwari was asked what made her choose this role, the actress said, "I'm glad for the kind of work that is coming my way. I'm thankful that people are considering me for roles."
The talented artist added, "As an actor, I like to go out of my comfort zone. I'm constantly looking for roles that will excite and challenge me."
Finally, Rajeshwari concluded, "There are times when you realize that you have to take up such kinds of roles."
Well, Rajeshwari's aura is still the same and she has proved that she can ace any role like a pro.
