MUMBAI: Ssharad Malhotra currently seen as lead of TV soap Muskaan is going to Indonesia courtesy Kasam Teri Pyar Ki. The jodi of Kritika and Sharad is a big hit in Indonesia as the show is dubbed and telecast there as lead pair Rishi and Tanu fans are going crazy. 

Indonesia is one place where TV stars are loved more than film stars. All the shows of Sharad be it Banu mein Teri Dulhan, Maharana Pratap to Kasam Tere Pyar kI and Muskaan have been hits. He is considered a hit star. He says, "Fans adulation gives an actor a kick to perform better".

He adds, "it is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice.  My and Kritika jodi was loved and I take that as a compliment" Sharad adds, "With a daily soap one can't travel much. Whenever I get off I try to go to Kolkata to be with my parents. One has to play the role of responsible son, husband, and brother too in real life"
