MUMBAI: TellyChakkar exclusively reported about Neha Solanki being locked to play the female lead in Shaika Films’ upcoming show for &TV.
The channel is also set to roll out another show. We are talking about Full House Media’s upcoming comedy drama Shaadi Ke Siyape.
According to our sources, the show will revolve around a woman (played by Alka Kaushal) who owns a marriage hall and is in search of her missing husband. Four aliens come to Earth to help her find him.
It is a weekend show, and every episode will feature new actors as brides and grooms.
TellyChakkar has learnt that the makers are in talks with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Bhavya Gandhi, who is also doing well in Gujarati films presently, to play one of the aliens in the show. Bhavya played the character of Tapu in Taarak Mehta until 2017.
When we contacted Bhavya, he shared, ‘Yes, I am in talks for the show, but nothing is confirmed yet.’
