MUMBAI: Star Bharat’s recently launched supernatural thriller, '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak,' has been receiving immense love from viewers since it first aired. With an intriguing storyline and an ensemble cast featuring Rajveer Singh, Shambhavi Singh, Aayushi Bhave, and Krip Suri in pivotal roles, the show also highlights Tejan Singh Yadav in a key role. Tejan Singh’s portrayal of Narayan Shastri (Baba) is particularly loved by viewers for its unique look and character.
Tejan Singh’s character is inspired by Bobby Deol’s role in the web series 'Aashram'. Tejan underwent a significant transformation and took some time to prepare for his role as Baba in '10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak'. Speaking about his preparation, Tejan Singh shared, “Bringing the character of Narayan Shashtri 'Baba' to life on screen was a huge responsibility. Although my role is loosely inspired by Bobby Deol’s role in 'Aashram', my preparation went beyond just the looks. Even though I play a Baba, my physique had to be more built and modern. I had to look like a modern-day Baba who uses his guise to do illegal things. While my hair was already long, I had to grow it even more to meet the character’s requirements.”
He further adds, “I conducted extensive research and watched 'Aashram' to study Bobby Deol’s character’s body language. Additionally, I had to maintain my physique to accurately portray a modern-day Baba. It took considerable time to fully embody my character, and I hope I’m doing justice to the role of Narayan Shashtri on screen.”
