Vaishali Takkar, fondly known as Prem and Simar’s on-screen daughter Anjali in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka, believes in spreading happiness around. And this is the way in which she celebrated the festive ambiance of Diwali.
Recently, she visited kids residing near DN Nagar, Gurudwara to make their Diwali brighter.
Vaishali gifted the kids with crackers, chocolates and fruits, is what we hear.
What’s more? The pretty girl saw the kids being barefooted, and took them to a nearby show shop to get them a pair of slippers.
Says Vaishali, “I have always made it a habit to visit kids who are in need to present them with basic necessities. I usually give my old clothes to the needy. From childhood, I have been donating my used and unused books after every academic year. This Diwali, I visited these kids and they were indeed happy with whatever gifts they got. This indeed made my day.”
Vaishali now looks forward to having a safe and happy Diwali!!
