MUMBAI : Varun Badola has been a part of numerous popular TV shows. The actor is currently winning accolades for his stint in Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. For the unversed, he plays the role of Amber Sharma in the show co-starring Shweta Tiwari, who plays Guneet. Now, the changing equation between the main leads has created quite a lot of buzz ever since the show premiered on television. Moreover, the latest development in the show is that their on-screen relationship has taken a different turn after Guneet decides to forgive Amber.

As per the latest reports, Varun aka Amber will channel his romantic side as he starts dating Guneet. For those who are not aware, he wooed his ladylove in real life too as the way he is going to sweep Guneet off her feet. The actor has now opened up on his dating days and says, “Amber’s love story with Guneet reminds me a lot about when I first started dating the love of my life, Rajeshwari. It’s like I’m reliving those romantic days and every scene I perform; I think about her. " For those who are unaware, Varun and Rajeshwari first met on a show where the latter was a host. Talking about the same, the actor says that fate brought them together as they kept bumping into each other. Not only that but they also danced together on a common friend’s birthday party. Varun further reveals how he asked for Rageshwari's number in a flamboyant style that flattered the latter to give her number. And guess what! He called her the very next day. 

Elaborating further on his love story, the actor states that it didn't begin even after because of their respective busy schedules. According to him, they struck a chord while shooting for a film and that is where the dating began. Varun reveals how the two of them approached their parents for consent later on. He states that Rageshwari's father immediately replied with a yes as her brother had already put in a good word. The actor adds that his family met Rageshwari during the time of his film Charas' release. Post that, the two of them tied the knot within six months. Varun says, "It’s almost sixteen years now and reliving the romantic phase for the show reminded me of my courtship with Rajeshwari." While talking about the show, the actor states that the biggest challenge that the on-screen couple will face is to reveal their relationship to Niya.
