Vijay Badlani to re-enter Zee TV's Jodha Akbar

Vijay Badlani, the actor perfecto, is all set to make his presence felt yet again in Zee TV’s Jodha Akbar (Balaji Telefilms). Vijay in an earlier stint entered the show as Ramtanu Pandey, best known as Tansen in history. So what would mark his re-entry? Well, Jodha’s (Paridhi Sharma) pregnancy. To keep Jodha in good humour during the pregnancy period, Akbar will summon Ramtanu to spread a blanket of bliss with his singing prowess. From then on, Ramtanu would be re christened as the great Tansen…the king of melody. When contacted Vijay, who recently shot for Asian Paints and DSC Securities ads, he shared with alacrity, “Being part of a historical show always gives one a sense of pride and as a performer more scope. I am glad that the production house of Jodha is giving me an opportunity to explore myself yet again.” Vijay is also a part of DD’s Amrita. The actor will begin shooting for Jodha today.
