MUMBAI: Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan is not just a show but it’s an emotion which every Indian feels deeply even after watching it several times. During these quarantine days, Ramayan has proved to be a stressbuster for everyone in the family and has made people remember the good old days.
From kids to adults to old-aged people, everyone is watching this show and also learning things about India's ancient history.
Well, since the time Ramayan is being rerun on the television, the internet is flooded with throwback pictures, videos and memes related to the show and the stars. Sunil Lahri who played the role of Laxman in the show is continuously sharing throwback pictures and various memories from his Ramayan days.
Sharring a fun incident from the shoot, Sunil revealed, “In a sequence, Ram, Laxman and Sita where travelling in a boat in a river. I was supposed to handle the directions. The directors asked me not to stop moving until he says a cut. I started the boat and unknowingly went far in the river. Later when I realised we had come almost towards the middle of a huge river. We called for help and finally, two people came to drive us back. We had a pack up post that sequence and I thought swim a bit and I removed the wig and dived into the river and bathe for good half an hour”.
