MUMBAI: From Sugandha Mishra to Rahul Vaidya there are many TV stars who tied the knot in the past three months. Popular, with a huge fan following small-screen TV stars like Rahul Vaidya and many others, got married in the last three months. For instance, on April 26, 2021, Sugandha Mishra got married to Dr Sanket Bhosale, On July 16, Rahul Vaidya got married to Disha Parmar and the list goes on.
During the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic and the whole lockdown situation, scheduling weddings have become difficult. The weddings can be attended by only a few people and cannot be grand due to the situation. There have been many famous TV stars who did not cancel their wedding dates or choose a Zoom wedding to maintain norms of social distancing. Many also had their dream wedding. A few of them had a quiet and intimate wedding during the quarantine period. Many did not postpone their marriage but dealt with the situation and got married.
Sugandha Mishra
She is the one who rose to fame with The Kapil Sharma show, Sugandha tied the knot with boyfriend Dr Sanket Bhosale on April 26, 2021. They had got married in a beautiful place namely Jalandhar. They opted for a very intimate and close-knit wedding.
The guests who had attended the wedding had got their Rapid Antigen test done before entering the wedding venue, which was a must. Sugandha looked outstanding in a yellow off-shoulder blouse, which she had paired with a sequinned pink lehenga and neckpiece. Sanket, on the other side, looked amazing in white and yellow attire, with his wife next to him. The duo looked cute together.
Rahul Vaidya
Taking the story back to the Bigg Boss 14 days, Rahul Vaidya had gone down on his knees to propose to girlfriend Disha Parmar for marriage. It made the audience go completely aww. And then, on July 16, 2021, the pair got married in a traditional and intimate ceremony in Mumbai city. While the singer was dressed in an ivory coloured sherwani, Disha was spotted in a stunning bright red coloured lehenga for her bridal look.
Post their wedding, the duo has changed their Instagram display photos. The actress has also changed her name to DPV (Disha Parmar Vaidya). The fans went crazy to see their wedding snaps and showered love.
Ankit Gera
Dated on June 5 when Pratigya actor Ankit Gera tied the knot with Rashi Puri who is an NRI from Nigeria. The wedding which was held in Chandigarh was only attended by 10 people. They only had the super close ones at the wedding. The actor revealed that he and Rashi were family friends. "It’s an arranged marriage. We are family friends. Our parents were looking for suitable partners for us and that’s when they suggested that we should talk. We started talking in April and soon developed a liking for each other", he quoted.
