Contrary to reports that Aamir Khan has been roped into a special extra segment for Bombay Talkies, the 4-episode film directed by Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, the star-actor is actually part of a special theme song to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema which will be part of the film.

Contrary to reports that Aamir Khan has been roped into a special extra segment for Bombay Talkies, the 4-episode film directed by Dibakar Bannerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap, the star-actor is actually part of a special theme song to commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema which will be part of the film.
Says a source close to the project, “The film’s shooting is done. Four directors had been assigned to do four episodes. Where is the scope for Aamir to do another segment? That is completely wrong reporting. Aamir has only participated in a song in Bombay Talkies composed by Amit Trivedi celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema.”
The song features several other top notch stars along with Aamir.
