Rahul Mahajan’s feisty sister, Poonam Mahajan who is also a Lok Sabha MP has shot off a letter to the BMC commissioner, Sitaram Kunte requesting him to demolish the alleged illegal ramp constructed outside Shah Rukh Khan’s palatial residence, Mannat in Bandra.
Bandra residents have long been fighting to reclaim that portion of the road which has now allegedly been converted into a cement ramp to park SRK’s vanity van. It is the residents’ grouse that the ramp blocks the way to the stairs that lead to Mount Mary Church.
Taking note of their grievance, Poonam Mahajan who represents Mumbai-North central region has joined the fight in helping residents reclaim this portion of road.
In a carefully worded letter (produced above), Poonam has made a mention of the existence of an illegal ramp on Cement Road in Bandra which the bungalow owner uses for parking his private heavy motor vehicle. She has in her letter asked the BMC commissioner to demolish the ramp and also cancel any proposals to shorten its width. Interestingly, Poonam refrained from making a direct mention of SRK or Mannat.
SRK, meanwhile is yet to respond in this matter.
